SENI, 25/10/3010, Human Station 398 in Venus Planet, XXXI Century

During her PHD research SENI found that the SECUS (Star Energy Capture Universal Satellites) had a wrong configuration back in 2512 done by some scientist of the Earth Energy Council (EEC). The parameters used for the positioning of those satellites in the orbits of the SUN and Earth were not well calculated.

Those satellites needed to be always faced to each other, one on the planet Earth orbit and the other on the Sun star orbit. The satellite on the Sun had the function of receiving an extraordinary stream of the Sun energy and to highly concentrate it in a much more powerful macro wave laser beam stream of atomic energy that was then sent back to the Earth SECUS satellite.

The Earth satellite had the function of receiving that macro wave laser beam stream energy and also send it back to the SECUS power station down on the planet Earth.

Everything seemed to be working well with the energy transfer from the Sun back to Earth using the SECUS satellites platform... but in 15/02/2530 that macro wave laser beam instead of going directly to the satellite on the planet Earth, it went back directly to the Sun. In fact, the Sun appeared in between the two satellites communication, due to an error in the behaviour of the Sun satellite trajectory around the Sun star.

The SECUS satellite on the Sun kept sending back that macro wave laser beam to the Sun and nobody knew what to do to solve that problem. But, since then the Sun star began to collapse... slowly along the following centuries. The Sun star began to lose its energy. From white and yellow, it turned into orange, dark orange, ... weakening, the solar system was dying...
